Terms of Service

1. General

Use of the FlashAI website and its services (the "Service") constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). The Service is operated by East and West LTD (the "Operator"), which can be contacted at eastandwestltd2021@gmail.com. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the Service.

2. Description of Service

FlashAI is an AI-powered service for generating study flashcards from PDF files and other learning materials. The Service includes smart study tools, spaced repetition, and personal progress tracking. The Operator reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.

3. User Account

Some features require registration. Users must provide truthful, current, and complete information, and maintain account credential confidentiality. Users are responsible for all activity under their account.

4. Permitted and Prohibited Use

Use is permitted solely for lawful, educational, and personal purposes. Strictly prohibited:

• Uploading copyright-infringing content;
• Uploading unlawful or offensive content;
• Attempting to breach systems or bypass security;
• Commercial use without prior written approval from the Operator;
• Copying, duplicating, or reverse engineering the code or system;
• Using the Service to develop a competing product;
• Abusing the API or performing automated mass operations (scraping, bot abuse).

5. Intellectual Property

All rights to FlashAI — including the code, design, logo, text, features, algorithms, and any other creative work — belong exclusively to the Operator. No copying, duplication, distribution, public display, or commercial use is permitted without prior written approval. Any attempt to copy or imitate the Service will be subject to full legal enforcement.

6. User Content

Users retain full rights to content they upload to the Service (PDFs, documents, etc.). By uploading content, users grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content for providing and improving the Service via AI models. The Operator does not claim ownership of user content.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS-IS" without warranty, express or implied. The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. Users must independently verify the correctness of study material. Under no circumstances will the Operator be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Changes to Service and Terms

The Operator may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be displayed on the site. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Termination

The Operator may, at its sole discretion, limit, suspend, or terminate user access to the Service at any time, including for breach of these Terms, without prior notice.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or from use of the Service lies with the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Yafo.
